Silent Retreat – Yoga Day

The following post is a summary of our last 1 day yoga retreat at Waterford Village Hall back in Autumn 2019. We had 15 guests who completed feedback forms, you can see a summary of their comments of the day by clicking on the link below.

Schedule for the day

  • 10:00 – Doors open / Registration / Grab a tea
  • 10:30 – Yoga class 1
  • Prana gathering exercise
  • Noble Silence begins
  • 12:00 – Lunch – Bring your own packed lunch
  • 12:45 – Silent walking meditation
  • 2:00 Yoga class 2
  • Chants for peace
  • 3:50 – Noble silence ends
  • Group discussion & experience share
  • 4:30 – Closing ceremony

What do I need to bring?

  1. Bring a Yoga mat (a few spares available on the day)
  2. A Meditation cushion
  3. Your own lunch
  4. A bottle of water
  5. Yoga blocks (if you need them) 
  6. Dress warm (just incase!)
