Common Questions About Starting Yoga
Do I need to be flexible to start yoga?
Not at all. Flexibility is a result of practicing yoga, not a requirement to begin. Modifications are provided for every movement so you can practice safely and comfortably.
What should I bring and wear to my first class?
Wear comfortable, stretchable clothing that allows you to move freely. If you have your own yoga mat, feel free to bring it; otherwise, mats and props can be provided.
Is yoga suitable for all ages and fitness levels?
Yes. Whether you are completely new to movement, returning after a break, or managing an injury, I emphasise gentle progression and self-awareness.
